About Joanna
Joanna Morin brings an international perspective, business, legal and governance expertise, and a longstanding commitment to the U.S. military community to her role as Vice Chairwoman of USO e.V.
Having lived and worked across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, Joanna developed a deep appreciation for intercultural understanding and international collaboration before settling in Germany with her U.S. Marine husband.
Alongside being an entrepreneur and a qualified mediator, Joanna serves as the European Liaison for the Semper Fi & America's Fund. She has been an active volunteer within the military community, supporting initiatives ranging from organizing a book launch and awareness event for Vice Admiral (Ret.) Bob Harward in Landstuhl to serving meals to active-duty service members at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC).
Joanna combines her experience in nonprofit governance and management with her life as a proud Marine spouse and her commitment to advocating for the well-being and mental health of U.S. service members and their families.
Having been exposed to many cultures throughout my professional life, I have developed a deep appreciation for the importance of intercultural understanding and for the difference individuals can make when they actively support organizations serving those who sacrifice for the safety of others. As Vice Chairwoman, my aim is to help advance the mission of USO, Inc., while strengthening intercultural relations through our community-building efforts with my fellow board members.
